Strategically scheduled at the beginning of the year, the Lincolnshire Business Expo is the event where local business leaders and experts meet to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the year ahead.

Britain is in the middle of negotiations with the EU over its departure terms, and what that would mean for businesses and supply chains across the country and the continent. And 2017 saw the first interest rate increase by the Bank of England in a decade, while the country still lags in productivity compared to its continental neighbours.

So what’s in store for Lincolnshire, its agricultural roots and engineering ambitions? What role education will play in the future of business in the region? And how will Lincolnshire thrive in a global economy? Our special panel at the 2018 Lincolnshire Business Expo will discuss these topics and more.

The panel includes:

• James Pinchbeck (Chair of the Panel), Marketing Partner, Streets Chartered Accountants

• Andrew Stevenson, Director of Research and Enterprise, University of Lincoln

• Gary Headland, CEO, Lincoln College

• Paul Banton, Managing Director, Ruddocks

• Richard Wills, Executive Director, Lincolnshire County Council

• Kate Ellis, Major Development Director, City of Lincoln Council
