The world is shrinking by the day and having access to the internet, including via smart phones, means borders are no longer a barrier. An effective digital presence enables you to identify potential customers, understand their needs and behaviours and establish a way of managing traffic, either to grow brand awareness, facilitate consumer research into your products or services or attract new leads and customers.
This workshop will help you gain an insight on how to develop an international digital strategy, use online research tools, plan for website optimisation and how to attract and grow customers from around the world.
Charlie Ruigrok, Digital Trade Advisor for the Department for International Trade, will run this session. Charlie works with businesses of all shapes and sizes to break through traditional barriers to exporting overseas, using a plethora of exciting new digital channels. He has a wealth of experience in the field, having previously worked with a range of private organisations on e-commerce and digital projects – leading on platform management, website building and optimisation for several international brands across Europe
